Household cooling/refrigeration
  • I am interested in refrigeration based on a durable design (no moving parts) similar to the Einstein refrigerator: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einstein_refrigerator

    The idea being that it only requires a heat-source (nominally solar-powered) to maintain refrigeration. I am looking for anyone who might have expertise in this area, or has already tried similar projects.

  • Your heat exchanger is your point of most crucial design. The more heat pulled from a larger surface area with the changes in both heat conductivity and gas exchange. Nano-Technologies with help with this. ie. Metal Foam - Open Cell
