    The Afghanistan OSE Project


    Proposal: Lets build a Compressed Earth Bricks (CEB) Press in Afghanistan using the OSE plans and funding from a Kickstarter with technical assistance from university students and US Millitary personel in theater. We'll use this CEB Press as a demostration tool for instructing local builders in the use of CEB's in construction as well as replication of the CEB Press itself.


    Funding will be community generated through an IndieGoGo campaign, with advertising pulled in by posts on facebook and twitter augmenting word-of-mouth.

    How is your project of CEB in Afghanistan? Is it going well?

    I'm quite interested because I'm based in Kabul last half year.
