    Hi Jeff,

My name is Nick. I'm one of the designers at 00:/ working on WikiHouse.
Really great to hear you are interested in the project! Apologies for taking
so long to get back to you - we have been incredibly busy preparing for the
Gwangju Biennale in Korea next week and trying to get the full WikiHouse
site live. We've also been totally overwhelmed by the interest in WikiHouse
already and the number of emails and questions coming in.

Firstly, I'd like to say that the work going on over at OSE has been a real
inspiration to us - in fact, as part of the exhibit at the Gwangju Design
Biennale we are planning to showcase some great open-hardware projects and
initiatives and the GVCS is definitely going to be one of them.

I think there is certainly the potential to look at ways of introducing
WikiHouse to the OSE and OSRL groups, and thinking about ways to collaborate
on taking WikiHouse forward. We really like the idea of using OSE tools to
build on the WikiHouse concept with insulation, services, etc - in fact, our
plan after the Biennale is to instigate a series of labs around the world
aiming to develop WikiHouse further and attempting to get to fully
habitable, openly designed and adaptable structures within 24-months, as
well as hosting a conference in the new year here in London on the maker
    movement, open design, and open-housing.

The benefit of the CNC-milling approach of course is that rapid-prototyping
is possible, albeit that the cost of materials and cutting can be
prohibitive. Having said that, we are really interested in the potential of
open-access CNC and projects like the GVCS table router to democratize
access to the tools and lower the threshold for people to the cost of
materials alone. Within that, we can imagine testing on all sorts of sheet
    materials, composites etc.

As you can imagine we are still at a very early stage of development, but we
are hoping to nurture a really strong community around WikiHouse and we'd
love you guys to be part of it, so may I suggest we talk again as soon as we
are through the imminent push and perhaps arrange a Skype chat or something?

    Thanks again for the support,
    Nick

Wow! Great!  This type of progress is making me very eager to get into my own shop in March and start work.

Hope to be one of the first enterprise collaborators for this project.
